Consumers love the convenience of sending and receiving eGifts. The challenge has been that Blackhawk Network's retail and brand partners many times don't have the bandwidth to develop and design their own branded eGifts. Due to this, consumers have not been getting a delightful and joyful experience that’s associated with gifting.
The design goal here was two folded. First, with the consumer, create a seamless web responsive eGifting experience. Second, with the U.S. retailer, create an easy to use internal portal that designers and developers could use to create eGifts for their customers. To get here, I went through the entire design process— used quantitative and qualitative data for research, created user flows/wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, tested, designed concepts for our partnership buy-ins, and more.
